This system can be permanently installed with solvent cement and used in solid, liquid, and pneumatic systems. Sight gauges are one of many practical applications of clear PVC pipe. The smooth interior surfaces of the clear pvc pipe permit maximum flow rates and minimize accumulation of sediment. It is non-toxic and resistant to bacterial activity. The clear PVC pipe can be sterilized in ethylene oxide and is flame retardant, UL rated 94VO. Clear PVC Pipe & Fittings are recommended for consideration in food and pharmaceutical plants, laboratories, hospitals, electroplating, photofinishing, and chemical installations.
