These coupling virtually eliminate fluid loss upon disconnection and are designed to help meet the demand for closed system transfer and dispensing of chemicals with minimal environmental contamination. They can be used with concentrated or diluted agricultural chemicals when transferring from bulk storage tanks, returnable containers, applicators, etc. The PF series couplings are typically for larger tanks (IBC's) for low-pressure transfer of fluids/chemicals from a storage location to smaller, more portable containers. They are often used in agriculture (fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides) or in chemical manufacturing/distribution. In farms and rural areas, they are used in water storage/dispensing. The nipples with "Tank Thread Mount" are specifically designed to thread into the 2" threaded ports on IBC's and stackable totes for dispensing the tote contents.
